In early 2016 Nat and I had the opportunity to visit Israel and Jordan as part of my Masters program through Moore Theological College. It was an incredible journey that brought so much of the Bible to life and gave me a fresh appreciation of the humanity of Jesus from Nazareth.
We are going back! In 2018 there is an opportunity to join an Olive Tree Travel tour that will take us from the ancient city of Petra, to the river Jordan, the Judean desert, the lush country side of Galilee, and finally the great city of Jerusalem. Such a tour will ground your faith in the history and culture in which Jesus himself lived. For me personally, I came back with fresh eyes through which to read the gospel, and a sense of pilgrimage that I had indeed stepped on the same ground that Jesus the Messiah had walked on.
We can’t wait to go back! Join us for an incredible journey in the footsteps of Jesus when the grass will be green and the flowers in bloom. And all experienced in the context of Christian community and friendship.
