In Acts 2:42-47 we learn that the early Christians met in the temple courts and in their houses. The shape of the worshipping community included both larger gatherings as well as informal meetings in the home. Throughout our parish, we have some 10 bible study groups that meet at different times and places throughout the week. These are life-giving meetings that connect us to each other and to the Lord Jesus in a way that is very important to our life together. As we enter our pre-Easter season (called Lent), we are inviting all in our parish to take the opportunity to join one of our Lenten study groups. You might just join up for the duration of Lent, or you might end up connecting on a longer-term basis. Either way you are most welcome and will surely be blessed.
Each group meets at a different time throughout the week. Some are mixed groups, women’s groups, men’s groups, and we are even starting a young adults group. You are neither too old nor too young to join in. Some of these groups meet in homes, others at one of our church buildings. To find out more or join a group please speak to one of the ministry team or you can email us from our contact page.
