OUR VISION
Our vision at South Wagga Anglican Church is all about GRACE - experiencing the love of Jesus and belonging to a community representing God’s grace to our city.
'For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.' Ephesians 2:8-10
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to see people growing in relationship with Christ and empowered to serve church and community doing the good God has prepared.
OUR VALUES
We have three core values at South Wagga Anglican: We seek to be a church that experiences the love of Jesus through relationships, God's word & prayer, we seek to be a community that belongs and grows together, and we seek to represent God's grace to our city through our services and through mission.

Relational
We believe that at the heart of the universe is the loving triune God who invites us into a life-giving relationship of worship, prayer, thanksgiving, and obedience (John 10:10).
Biblical
We treasure the Bible as God’s word which reveals the gift of God's salvation through faith in Jesus and serves as our authority in doctrine (2 Timothy 3:15).
Prayerful
We are convinced that the only lasting work of the church is undertaken in the power of the Lord, and therefore we look to God in prayer to guide all that we do (Ephesians 6:12, 18).
Belonging
We value everyone as people for whom Christ died and thus welcome every individual, seeking to connect all into a nurturing community of faith (Ephesians 4:2-3).
Growing
We celebrate God’s gifts to his people and provide opportunities for people to develop their gifts and contribute to the building up of the church (Ephesians 4:12-13)
Attractional
We recognise that Australia’s spiritual climate is changing and so strive for inspirational and creatively diverse worship services, whilst embracing our unity in Jesus Christ (Acts 2:46-47).
Missional
We believe the church exists for others and therefore we are passionate about creatively sharing the good news of Jesus and generously serving in our wider community and throughout the world (1 Peter 2:12; 3:15).
OUR FIVE YEAR FOCUS & GOALS
We want our community of Wagga to see a snapshot of heaven when they look at our church. We seek to be a a community that's diverse, intergenerational, and representing God's love to our city.
Focus on children & youth ministry
To grow our inclusion and discipleship of children, youth and young adults reflecting a genuine intergenerational ministry model and church family.
Focus on small groups
To multiply our small groups ministry across our parish as the backbone of prayer, pastoral care and belonging.
Focus on equipping & training
To establish a stronger equipping and training focus, so that we feel confident to live out a holistic faith in a changing world.
Focus on community care & mission
To build bridges of compassion into our local community, including the development of SWAC Care and connecting with local schools, and the Indigenous community.
